What is it ?
A fuel cell operating at high temperature where the energy lost in the electrolyte and at the electrodes is recycled to regenerate the fuel.
How does it work ?
The electrolyte consists of a solid oxide such as yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ), providing heat for the three chemical reactions of the Sulfur Iodine cycle which produces hydrogen.
